The Swimming Pool...
...with views across the olive groves to the sea is large and sparkling measuring 14 mtrs x 7mtrs, and has lots of space for everyone at any time. Surrounded by a paved stone terrace and lush green lawns both decked with luxury sun loungers, chairs, tables, a hammock and swing. The large ancient olive trees dotted amongst the lawn offer a shady place on hot days along with the covered terrace complete with table and chairs make an ideal spot for a picnic lunch. Adjacent is a large outdoor kitchen and herb garden and a covered gazebo with tables and chairs which provides a great entertainment area and is where we host pizza making events during Summer. Guests are welcome to use this kitchen complete with the large barbeque and equipment. Beyond the outdoor kitchen is a large grassed area suitable for ball games. There is a supply of outdoor toys along with buckets and spades to use at the beach as well as a paddling pool for young babies. During events on Summer evenings this whole area is floodlit. There are toilet and shower facilities nearby. The pool and surroundings like all other areas are exceptionally well maintained and cleaned by Doug every morning. Pool opening times, depending on the weather, are usually May to September.

Gardens & Terraces
These were designed by Elizabeth and cover a large area in both sun and shade. We both started the planting in 2006 and still continue as new ideas come to mind. Immediately the planting attracted many varieties of wildlife such as butterflies and the hummingbird moth. Potted plants, terraces, garden seats, swings, tables and chairs are all intermittently placed to take in the stunning views. Stroll between scented lavender and myrtle hedges to the orchard linked along pathways with rose and jasmine covered arbors, these smaller areas of the garden allow privacy for our guests and making it a very romantic place to while away time during your stay. The Mediterranean style planting provides year round interest with colourful bougainvilleas, wisteria, oleanders, plumbago, campsis, hibiscus, stephanotis, highly scented especially on Summer evenings. Other areas include cactus gardens and an extensive orchard containing all kinds of citrus tree, apples, pears, cherries, plums, mulberries, figs, pomegranates, apricot, peach, quince, nespole and persimmon fruit as well as almonds and hazelnuts. During Autumn, Winter and Spring the whole garden is alive with citrus fruits, almond blossom, mimosa and cherry. Pelargonium’s and marguerites continue to flower and the land is carpeted with an abundance of wild flowers, such as orchids, poppies, wild asparagus and thyme which we view almost every day in pleasant temperatures against bright blue skies.
