Children in towns and villages celebrate “Fathers Day” each year on 21st March. This Falo di San Guiseppe was in Chiesa Nuova 3 kms from here. Music and dancing in the street. Local foods - panzarotte, frittele, porchetta, wine and beer finished off with a seasonal cake called zeppole. Mmmm
New EasyJet flights to Brindisi...
EasyJet have announced they will be flying to Brindisi from 1st April 2015 from London Gatwick, Paris ORY, Basel, Geneva and Milan Malpensa. They will continue to fly to Bari from Spring to Autumn as usual, but the new competition for Ryanair from the UK and northern Italy looks likely to reduce flight costs, good news!
